Short Speech on Pollution - For Students |
Good morning to all My name is ...... and I teach in class ... On this occasion I would like to give a speech on pollution. My dear friends, pollution is the biggest challenge affecting the environment and human life. This is an environmental issue faced by people all over the world today. Different hazardous and toxic substances from different sources are causing different types of pollutants such as water, soil, air, land, sound, and thermal pollution in the environment. Smoke and toxic dust from industries and factories are found in the air, which causes air pollution. This kind of polluted air is bad for the lungs. The sewage and other residues of industries and factories are directly flowed directly into large sources of water (river, lake, sea, etc.) and they are also mixed in potable water. Such contaminated water (containing germs, bacteria, toxins, viruses, etc.) is very harmful to the health of humans, animals, plants and aquatic organisms.
Nowadays, the atmosphere is not calm due to the rising sound levels through traffic, sound systems, electrical appliances, etc. Such sounds cause sound pollution and are harmful to the natural tolerance of the ears. Excessive and unbearable noise of vehicles, loud speakers, etc. can cause ear problems and even permanent deafness, especially for the elderly and young children.
Man-made chemicals in industries and factories such as; Hydrocarbons, solvents, heavy metals, etc. are found in the soil, when people use herbicides (toxic chemicals used by farmers to eliminate unwanted wild plants from the crop), pesticides, fertilizers, etc. or Are found in the soil through dispersion or underground leakage of chemicals. Such contaminants as solid, liquid or gas cause soil or soil contamination that pollutes the entire earth. These contaminants also cause water and air pollution as they are found in the nearby water supply and some chemicals also do harmful evaporation respectively.
Constantly increasing use of plastic by people causes environmental pollution on a large scale and which adversely affects wildlife. Thermal (thermal) pollution is increasing due to the use of large levels of water as a coolant by power plants and industrial manufacturers. It is causing changes in water temperature in large water bodies. It is very harmful to aquatic organisms and plants because the increased level of water temperature reduces the level of oxygen in the water.
My dear colleagues, we are covered with a thick layer of pollution from the top, bottom, right and left. We are living in pollution but the most shocking thing is that some people are still not aware of it. Large and well-developed countries are most responsible for the increasing pollution around the world. This is a very challenging topic for the entire planet that needs to be solved immediately. It cannot be solved only by the efforts of one or two countries.
Various countries have adopted some powerful laws to reduce pollution, however, this is not enough to defeat this powerful demon. For the complete elimination of this, joint global action is needed. High level awareness programs need to be initiated to achieve the necessary efforts of the general public. Everyone in the country should be aware and aware of this problem, its causes, and its side effects on the living. The use of harmful and toxic chemicals by people, industries and factories should be strictly prohibited by the government. The general public should be vigilant to protect the environment by adopting environmentally friendly things and habits through the camps or other means of educational institutions and government agencies.
Thank you.
